Rebranding Through Play: An Interactive Quiz for Employee Learning
Coreworkers wanted to create an engaging way for employees to learn about their client’s upcoming rebranding. Instead of a traditional information campaign, the goal was to design a digital experience that felt fun, mobile-first, and easy to access — like a native app, but built as a website.
Challenge
The main challenge was to build a quiz platform that:
- Encourages participation over several weeks.
- Prevents cheating while keeping the competition fair.
- Feels like a mobile app, even though it’s built in WordPress.
- Delivers an intuitive, fast, and engaging experience across devices.
Solution
We developed a WordPress website enhanced with React to combine the power of a CMS with the smooth, app-like feel of a modern single-page application.
The quiz was divided into three rounds, released over several weeks to create continuity and maintain engagement. Each round introduced new questions about the rebranding and the company, blending education and entertainment.
The design and interaction were optimized for mobile, with smooth transitions, responsive layouts, and clear feedback for each answer. The experience was deliberately built to feel “light” and playful — something users would look forward to.
Gamification & Incentives
To maximize engagement while minimizing the risk of cheating, the prize system was designed around participation rather than competition:
- Grand Prize: Everyone who completed all three rounds was entered into the main prize draw — regardless of score.
- Round Prizes: Smaller rewards were distributed to top scorers in each round, such as branded merchandise (e.g., Sonepar caps and jackets).
This balance ensured broad participation and sustained interest without turning the quiz into a race for points.

Outcome
The result was a highly engaging quiz experience that successfully informed employees about the rebranding while strengthening company culture and excitement around the new identity.
Participation rates exceeded expectations, with high completion rates across all three rounds. The client reported strong positive feedback from employees, citing the quiz as a fun and motivating way to learn about the brand.
